My Parents 1 Year Mark

August 29th marked my parents 1 year anniversary from getting baptized! They are now taking Temple Prep classes and hoping to be able to go to the Temple in September. They are excited and i am almost in denial that this could really be happening. You never know what the Lord has in store for you.

My Nerdy Kids

Russell has these funny glasses and thinks it is cool or fun to be a nerd. Then he let James try them on. they were having so much fun with just these 1 pair of glasses.

School Days

I thought I would be sad and miss Samuel like crazy when he went to 1st grade ALL day long. I have to admit the first morning was a bit rough getting up early and getting him on the bus. I was emotional as the big yellow school bus drove my firstborn off to school. I came home and got ready for the day. I noticed that it was very calm and quite. I had more time to get things done. Could it be that this was a blessing in disguise? Russell and James still have their occasional tiff but they play quite and are good little boys. I just might end up liking Samuel being away at school. Part of me feels like a terrible mother that I would enjoy not having one of my kids around and the other part knows he needs an education and that is why he is gone. Might as well enjoy what life brings.

Where Have I Been?

You know I thought that I would be good at this blogging thing. I like to write, I like to know what's going on with others. I work online so I thought I could do it. Well I am not so good at it. Things happen and I don't share I just write in my journal with a pen from my personal collection. For all those who may be interested in what has been going on here ya go.



In April I ran the SLC Half Marathon

In May.June I went home to Oregon for a visit






I won a Mary Kay makeover in May but can't figure out how to do the hair do they gave me which I love

In July Will turned 32 and Russell turned 4

Today was Samuel's 1st day of school
